Opportunity Overview:

An exciting opportunity is now available in the Wang Lab for a Postdoctoral position. This project will use systems biology approaches to characterize the immune responses against malaria in animal models and/or humans induced by experimental malaria vaccines. The goal of this work is to use the systems biology approaches to identify the immune signatures that are associated with vaccine-induced protection against malaria infection.

Position Skills and Requirements:

Candidates with a Ph.D. and a strong background in cellular immunology and molecular parasitology are encouraged to apply. Documented experience with small animal models, a variety of cellular immunity assays, and cell sorting and analysis by flow cytometry, are highly desirable. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
