We currently have a vacancy for a Scientific Officer in our Molecular Cell Biology Team, led by Professor Clare Isacke.

The objective of this post will be to spend 75% of the time providing technical support for research projects currently underway in Professor Isacke’s laboratory that focus on the process of breast cancer invasion and metastasis. Approximately 25% of the time will be spent on laboratory management duties. The Institute of Cancer Research and the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Centre provide a wide variety of training opportunities.

Applicants should possess a BSC or equivalent in molecular biology or cell biology. Knowledge of cell culture techniques is essential, together with excellent organisation skills.

The appointment will be on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 years in the first instance, with a starting salary in the range of £23,000–£27,581 per annum inclusive based on previous experience.
