美国斯克利普斯研究所分子治疗学博士后职位
job description
The Department of Molecular Therapeutics at The Scripps Research Institute, Scripps Florida, is seeking a post doctoral candidate with experience in neurobiology, cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry or a related field and have demonstrated expertise in all of the areas listed above. Detailed knowledge of mitochondrial functional assays, immunocytochemistry, isolation of primary neurons, and apoptotic and cytotoxicity assays is required. Experience in stereotactic surgery and confocal microscopy is a plus. The project is centered on oxidative stress and neurodegeneration both in vitro and in vivo and is trying to delineate aspects of both mitochondrial dysfunction and ER stress. Our lab has a significant focus on kinases, with a particular interest in JNK, LRRK2, and SGK-1. The candidate will be responsible for investigating the role of mitochondrial JNK signaling, how LRRK2 interacts with the JNK pathway, and how SGK-1 may affect LRRK2. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a curriculum vitae and the names and contact information for three references to: Dr. Philip LoGrasso, TSRI, lograsso@scripps.edu.
TSRI embraces diversity & recognizes it as being a key to our success. EOE/M/F/V/D.
