Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biointerfaces and Biophysics
£29,972 – £35,788 p.a. (University Grade 7)
Fixed term for 5 years available from July 2012

Project Title: Biointerfaces

This position is intended for scientists who have demonstrated high potential and who wish to establish themselves as independent researchers in the area of Biointerfaces at the University of Leeds, working alongside the group of Dr. Lars Jeuken in the Faculty of Biological Sciences. To apply for this position, you must submit a 2-page research proposal and indicate how you will fund your research in the future.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics or a related discipline; have a strong research background, enthusiasm for research and a strong interest in studying redox and/or membrane-proteins. You will have good time management skills with the ability to design, execute and write up experimental work independently.
