Grade 7: £29,099 - £35,788 p.a.

The research programme funded by the Ludwig Institute, will initially focus on understanding the signalling pathways that regulate phenotype switching in melanoma cells.

You will be an enthusiastic, motivated scientist possessing experience in biochemistry and molecular biology with an ability to work to a high standard and will have previous postdoctoral laboratory experience in melanoma biology, gene regulation by MITF and in qPCR, ChIP, FACS and HPLC.

Essentially you will have the ability to work as part of a team with at least two first author publications and evidence of a previous successful fellowship application.

The research involves a wide range of molecular and cellular biology techniques. A background in signal transduction-stimulated gene regulation and ideally on Mitf and pigmentation genes would be an advantage.
