Postdoctoral fellow positions are available to study the therapeutic potential of human ES or iPS-derived neural stem cells after spinal cord injury or stroke. Ongoing studies include epigenetic control of reprogramming of human iPS, mechanisms regulating the neural differentiation of human ES or iPS in vitro, the therapeutic potential of neural stem cellls or glial precursor cells after spinal cord injury or stroke. Candidates should have solid graduate training in Neuroscience and have published in the related field as first author on peer reviewed journals. Previous experience in human ES or iPS, animal models of spinal cord injuries or stroke, or cell transplantation is preferred.
