The Gazes Cardiac Research Institute in conjunction with the Departments of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina are currently recruiting postdoctoral fellows into positions funded by a NHLBI training grant. The goal is to develop strong basic and translational scientists with an interest in cardiovascular research. Successful applicants will choose a mentor from the interdisciplinary group of investigators who are committed to cardiovascular research. Research programs include: molecular basis of cardiovascular disease; mechanisms of cardiovascular development; cardiac stem cells and regenerative medicine; cell signaling; and drug discovery.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
