A post-doctoral position is available within the SQUAP team at Laboratoire Matériaux et Phénomènes Quantiques, Université Paris Diderot. The project is centered around the physic of Dirac fermions in graphene and topological insulators probed by inelastic light scattering under high magnetic fields and at low temperature.
The aim of the project is to probe collective excitations and spin degrees of freedom in two dimensional systems which support Dirac-like fermions like graphene and also surface state electronic states of topological insulators like Bi2Se3 and Bi1-xSbx.
The applicant should have a strong background in experimental condensed matter physics. Previous experience on device fabrication and/or graphene would be appreciated.
