丹麦奥胡斯大学电化学基因传感器博士后职位
job description
A post-doctoral research position in Electrochemical Genosensors is available at the iNANO Center, Science and Technology, Aarhus University, Denmark, starting from 1 February 2012.
The position is for 1 year with the possibility for extension for another year (1+1 years).
The project is focused on studies of electron transfer (ET) reactions in DNA and electrochemical genosensor and aptasensor development (1, 2). It involves fundamental electrochemical studies of DNA and RNA at electrodes and based on this research, the development of advanced biosensing platforms for cancer diagnostics and neurodegenerative diseases. The project is inherently interdisciplinary and will be run at the Center for DNA Nanotechnology (CDNA and iNANO) in collaboration with several scientific centers at Aarhus University.
The applicant should have a PhD in Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry or related disciplines and show a good knowledge of electrode reaction kinetics and bioconjugation methods supported by a successful and documented scientific record. Knowledge and experience in organic chemistry and molecular biology will be considered a plus.
