The Center for Autoimmune and Inflammatory Diseases in the Biosciences Division has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to work on preclinical development of protein therapeutics and other biologics. The successful candidate will be part of a team that develops, validates and performs a variety of assays for government and commercial clients in a GLP environment. Immunological techniques will include ELISAs and related immunoassays, cell culture, flow cytometry.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be asked to:
- Help design and troubleshoot assays
- Perform and meticulously document assays in accordance with GLP regulations
- Provide scientific guidance to research associates

Requirements:
Candidates must have a PhD in Immunology or a related field. Candidate must have experience with immunoassays and cell-based assays and an interest in securing funding from commercial and government contracts. Previous GLP experience is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate has expertise demonstrated by publications, the ability to organize and write scientific papers and reports, and to present results in professional settings. Incumbent must be observant, detail-oriented, motivated and clear thinking, and must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills.
