Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Network of Excellence for Functional Biomaterials (NFB) at the National University of Ireland, Galway. The project is funded by Health Research Board, Ireland.
Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a three year fixed term postdoctoral research fellow contract position. The position is designed for the development of a cell-based therapy platform technology for peripheral nerve regeneration. Duties and Responsibilities: •Perform extensive in vitro and in vivo experimentation; •Analyse data in an accurate and precise manner; •Actively participate in international conferences and meetings; •Publish data in high impact factor journals; •Guide and train doctoral candidates; •Closely work with other post-doctoral scientist at NFB and associated institutes within and outside NUI Galway; •Co-ordinate and manage project in an independent manner.
