西班牙拿瓦拉大学计量生物学博士后招聘
job description
The function of presynaptic terminals is central to all aspects of brain function, and dysregulation has now been implicated in several important diseases, ranging from epilepsy to Alzheimer’s disease. We are recruiting a postdoc with good experimental or technical skills to generate and characterize a genetic mouse model designed to validate a new target for treating epilepsy based upon recent discoveries of a native anti-epilepsy mechanism operating in pre-synaptic terminals.
Candidates with a background in mouse genetics and an interest in quantitative biology and translating basic science findings to disease are especially encouraged to apply. CIMA is an exciting new research center with excellent facilities in the northern part of Spain (Pamplona). Send a CV, cover letter with a short summary of previous research accomplishments, and names of references to Dr. John Wesseling (jwesseling@unav.es).
