One postdoctoral position will be available from January 2012 at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University to study the molecular mechanism on the regulatory specificity of NF-kappaB. Our current research focuses on the recently identified NF-kappaB non-Rel subunit, RPS3 and its role in NF-kappaB DNA recognition (Wan et al. 2007 Cell 131, 927; Wan et al. 2009 Cold Spring Harb. Perspect. Biol. 1, a000067). The laboratory is located at the medical campus of Johns Hopkins University with state-of-the-art facilities and collaborative environment.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent; have no more than five years of post-doctoral experience. Highly motivated individuals with strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related areas are encouraged to apply. Experience with signal transduction is desirable but not required.
